THE STORY BEHIND
This is the second version of the painting "Crossing the River". The first painting was created in Dezember 2024, this one almost a year later.
This abstract painting captures the journey of personal transofrmation, inspired by Dr. Joe Dispenza's teachings on change.
The composition divides into three realms: weathered grey shores representing our familiar past, and a flowing central mysterious river symbolizing the Unknown we must navigate through during transformation.
The textured, distressed edges suggest the comfort yet limitations of old patterns, while the dynamic blue-green currents represent that essential liminal space where transformation occurs--the unconfortable void between who we were and who we're becoming. Golden accents catch the light like moments of breaking through and wisdom.
The painting invites contemplation of our own crossing: the courage to leave familiar shores and trust in the trasformative power of stepping into the Unknown.
